Making my own wedding bands

As some of you will know - I very recently got engaged and I am planning to get married this summer, I have therefore decided I will be commissioning myself to make our wedding bands… because I needed the extra stress!

For my own ring it will be 18ct Yellow Gold to match my engagement ring (which I didn’t make) and I am thinking about adding some diamonds but I’m not 100% sure yet!

For my fiancé… well he is still very unsure about what he wants as he’s not a jewellery wearer normally. It’s going to have to be nice enough that he will want to wear it but also plain enough that he won’t feel weird wearing it every day… I love a tricky customer haha!

Keep an eye on my Instagram page as I will be sharing all the details on our rings throughout the design and creation process!

Interested in having me commission your wedding band?

I offer a really personal experience with a huge range of options to bring your ideas to life. Each couple has the freedom to choose:

  • Metal: select from a variety of metals, including Sterling Silver, 9ct White Gold, 9ct Yellow Gold, 18ct White Gold or 18ct Yellow Gold.

  • Width of Band: choose the width of the band to suit your style from delicate and thin to bolder statement pieces

  • Shape of Band: I can do traditional flat bands, soft rounded edges or something more intricate

  • Finish: opt for matte as a more understated look, polished or a hammered texture to add a rustic feel

  • Gemstones: enhance your ring with a gemstone or sea glass that has a special meaning to you both
