Making Wax Jewellery

Over the past wee while I have been experimenting with working with wax in my little studio in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis!

This is a really exciting jewellery making method which opens up so many possibilities for future Sea Inspired Jewellery pieces.

Wax Carvings

The Atlantic Bar Necklace and Atlantic Carved Ring are the first pieces to be added to my website.

First created with wax, this is how these pieces originally looked.

I sent these of Jewellery Casting Scotland who cast each piece in Sterling Silver.

There is still a lot to learn about working with wax, but I am super happy with how these have turned out.

Each of these pieces are now available on my website as well as in the Alice Catherine Jewellery Studio in Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides.

I am looking forward to creating my Ocean-Inspired Jewellery designs in the future!
